1. The Bible School consists of a 3-year curriculum that is taught online. It takes place one evening per week from 7.15 to 9.15, except in school holidays. As far as possible, the Bible School holidays fall within the Gauteng school holiday calendar. Each Bible School year runs from July to June of the following year.
2. There are no fees involved; however, each student’s full commitment is required.
The Bible School is registered with the South African authorities as a Non-Profit Organisation.
We are entirely dependent upon donations to cover our costs. Any donations can be deposited into our Nedbank account: Preparing the Bride of Christ Bible School, account No. 1159560684.
3. There are no exams involved, only a 10-point, true/false-answer test that is available online at the end of each lesson and must be submitted within 6 days of the lesson – cut off time being the night before the next lesson.
4. Students need to print their teachings in readiness for their lessons. The teachings will be available on the ADMIN Group WhatsApp the day before the lesson.
5. The classroom opens at 7.00 and students must be ready to start promptly at 7.15.
Please note that Webex automatically records every student’s entry and exit times.
The 15 minutes between 7.00 and 7.15 is open for testimonies and questions.
6. There are 4 modules in each of the 3 School years – each module consisting of 8 or 9 teachings.
STUDENTS ARE REQUIRED TO ATTEND ALL THE LESSONS IN EACH MODULE. Failure to attend a lesson will result in a missed lesson concession. STUDENTS MISSING MORE THAN 4 LESSONS IN A YEAR (1ST, 2ND OR 3RD YEAR), WILL FAIL THE YEAR AND BE REQUIRED TO REPEAT IT. PLEASE NOTE: NO EXCEPTIONS ARE MADE! HOWEVER:
7. Any lesson missed because of loadshedding will not incur a missed lesson penalty provided the student communicates this reason – sending a photo of his/her area loadshedding schedule – to our Webex Administrator, Sarah Bezuidenhout
(061 581 0430 / +27 61 581 0430) by 9.00 the following morning.
8. All missed lessons must be made up by the student listening to the recording (which becomes available on the ADMIN Group Whatsapp a day or two after the lesson) and then submitting the test within the allotted time (see 3. above).
9. Failure to submit tests within the allotted time (see 3. above) results in a 0/10 test result AND a test penalty. STUDENTS RECEIVING MORE THAN 4 TEST PENALTIES IN A YEAR (1ST, 2ND OR 3RD YEAR) WILL FAIL THE YEAR AND BE REQUIRED TO REPEAT IT. PLEASE NOTE: NO EXCEPTIONS ARE MADE!
10. Test results are graded as follows:
10/10 Excellent
9/10 Very Good
8/10 Good
7/10 Average
6/10 Poor - student needs to revise the lesson.
11. Students wanting to continue their studies after Bible School can do so through the Team Impact Christian University – their successful completion of Bible School, together with a good track record of test results, gaining them entry at BA level. University studies, however, are not free.
